automotive heating and air conditioning systems. Developed innovative
technique to provide a zero static pressure air extraction system that then
measured the air extracted from the system. Provided high accuracy

1994 Position: SENIOR ENGINEER Duties: Originated idea and obtained patent approval
for freestanding optical character recognition machine based on the idea of
the coin-operated plain paper copier. Device takes paper input on a
scanner and converts the document image generated by the scanner into a word
processor compatible file useful for editing on a word processor.
Software developed under Windows in Visual Basic. Left when company was
unable to obtain sufficient venture capital.

designs for high technology programs for projects involving signal

funding. Managed seven people and $500,000 annual operating
budget. Left the company due to the recession and business slowdown of
